Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, model, and prepare documents for reports, contract drawings, and other deliverables.
  • Assist project manager with performing structural analysis and producing contract drawings.
  • Assist project managers with construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, site meetings, and site visits.
  • Pursue professional activities to gain professional recognition.

Qualifications, Skills, and Education:

  • 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Bachelors/master’s in civil engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, preferred
  • Familiarity with Industry standard engineering analysis software such as REVIT, ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, etc.
  • Team-oriented mindset, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to take independent initiatives to meet project deadlines
  • Engineer-In-Training (FE/EIT) certificate preferred.
  • Problem-solving capability to solve minor or complex problems using logic, data, and judgment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, model, and prepare documents for reports, contract drawings, and other deliverables.
  • Serve as manager on projects that may include design and detail of structural components, condition assessment, and repair/restoration of existing buildings.
  • Work closely with Principal in charge to develop structural concepts and assist with project scope and proposals.
  • Manage construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, site meetings, and site visits.
  • Pursue professional activities to gain professional recognition. 

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Education:

  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Masters in civil engineering with an emphasis in Structural engineering
  • Experience and proficiency with Industry standard engineering analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work independently and in teams. 
  • Professional Engineering (SE) licensure.
  • Experience in design and analysis of concrete, steel, masonry, and timber construction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
